1. Veritas in Caritate: Truth in Love: Speak the truth in a positive and polite manner. Truth may sometimes hurt therefore should be expressed with kindness, empathy, and understanding, for the good of all without demeaning anyone in the process. (* Pray before, during and after the conversation* Trust in God)
2. Think in good faith and act with integrity. We strive to keep our promises, personal or otherwise, and strictly follow ethical, professional and business practices. Whenever there is a conflict of interest or crucial decision-making, we resolve it in a manner that is fair and reasonable to all involved, or where unanimity is impossible, in favor of the majority. CHSAF’s interests prevail over members’ personal interests, whether pecuniary or not.
3. Promote and remain faithful to CHSAF Values: Veritas in Caritate Truth in Love; Integrity; Excellence; Good Governance; Environment Friendly. CHSAF can fulfill its role in the community through us, its members , with the indispensable participation and active cooperation of stakeholders and beneficiaries. We are expected to lead and inspire them by our unifying and devoted adherence to CHSAF Values, sustainable delivery of high-quality goods and services, consistent and effective performance of our duties and obligations, all in a non-discriminatory and transparent manner.
4. Adhere to good governance. We observe and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and CHSAF policies and rules. We fully support the CHSAF governing body of duly elected and qualified trustees. We believe that loyalty to CHSAF means, among others, promptly reporting any harmful and divisive activities aimed at any of its members, in particular, or the public. We are accountable for our own acts and omissions as well as those of others whom we are responsible for, especially regarding CHSAF non-profit operations, administrative expenses, and risk management.
5. Embrace environmental standards and observe social norms. Address concerns such as conservation of natural resources, prevention of pollution, minimizing wastes and reducing ecological footprint. When exercising one’s rights, there is no absolute freedom. There are limitations precisely to preserve peace and order in society and everyone’s sound mental health and well-being.
